Personal History: Maia Bennett

Recruited by a family friend into the Marine Corps her junior year of highschool, due to her athletic ability and high test scores, Maia trained her Senior year, and joined immediately after graduation.  She tested very well, and was placed right into intelligence training, something that suited her well, as she had always dreamed of working for the CIA.  She made her way through basic, and excelled at her specialized training, then, was called upon along with many others to go to the Middle East to do some surveillance during a time of stress over there.  She went, excited about her first assignment away from home, but unfortunately ended up the victim of a friendly fire situation, in which an Apache opened fire on their caravan, causing her jeep to tumble, leaving her trapped underneath, and badly injured.

Maia was discharged honorably from the Corps as a result of her injuries, which was devastating to her.  She struggled through rehab, worked very hard, and gained all of her strength back and then some.  After stumbling across an episode in which Granger Mayhew (head of pub security and sheriff of Allentown) was attacked by a hunter, and assisting him, Maia has become his ghoul, and is now employed by him as a member of his security team. Maia is skilled in hand to hand combat, weaponry, and surveillance.
